This course will enable the student to design e-business applications to meet specific business requirements, select patterns for designs from IBM Patterns for e-business, apply optional elements to the base designs, evaluate alternative approaches, advise on tools to implement the designs and provide basic consulting on best practices in design and implementation of e-business applications. This course has been reworked completely towards pattern oriented e-business architecture.

Teilnehmer Zielgruppe

Persons responsible for the basic structure of e-business applications or infrastructure,such as architects,application designers, infrastructure implementors,lead programmers,security specialists and business area managers.

Kurs Voraussetzungen

The part of the audience that needs to understand the "why" of technology choices and product placement must have:

• General knowledge of the e-business marketplace
• Conceptual knowledge of Web basics and of legacy systems
•  "How" technologies and products work
• Knowledge of e-business technologies and related IBM products
